2017-18 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Waiver Wire

Before we get to the 2017-18 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Waiver Wire I want to point out the incredible basketball the Houston Rockets are right now. They have the best record in the NBA and that is the case even having missed Chris Paul for 14 games this season.

A fact few know is the Rockets have yet to lose a game with Chris Paul is in the lineup, and that streak may not end anytime soon. He is on an incredible run right now averaging 23.8 points, seven rebounds and 9.3 assists over the last week. When CP3 went to the Rockets this offseason, I was skeptical that him and Harden could co-exist on the same team and have it work. Well, I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong.

If CP3 can stay healthy, I believe this team will have the best chance of any in the last two seasons (including this one) to take down the Golden State Warriors. Regardless of what happens, it will be fun to watch these two go at it.

All players mentioned are owned in 50% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Milos Teodosic, PG, Los Angeles Clippers

The numbers are not there yet, but they will be. Teodosic returned from injury two games ago and immediately thrust into the starting lineup.

Teodosic usage should be very high with injuries to Griffin and Beverly. Even when Griffin returns, Teodosic should still see a high usage rate. This is right along with what we thought before the season started. In fact, he could be more efficient and have his assist totals increase with a better offensive option available for him.

He is a must add in all leagues.

Caris LeVert, SG/SF, Brooklyn Nets

LeVert is on quite a run averaging 16.3 points and 7.7 assists per game over the last week.

He is not starting, but still averaging around 30 minutes every game. Also as you can tell from his uptick in assists he is being asked to run the offense more.

Now is the time to pounce on him and hope he can continue this value the rest of the season.

Jonathon Simmons, SG, Orlando Magic

In the last seven games Simmons he has averaged just under 20 points a game at 19.1. He joined the starting lineup just a couple games before that and it does not appear he is going anywhere anytime soon.

He isn’t just chipping in points either. In the last week, he has added 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Simmons value will take a bit of a hit when Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier return from their injuries, but he will still hold enough to own. Plus there is no timetable on when Fournier returns right now, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity.
