The Fantasy Edge: Under ADP 150 Undesirable Targets

This week on the Fantasy Edge we look at players from below the average draft position 150 that are undesirable targets. Kevin Huo returns to the show with Richard Savill.

Kevin and Richard each pre-selected four players in that range to discuss why we aren’t interested in drafting them for various reasons. This is the opposite of last week’s show.

The guys discuss the Hall of Fame game between the Cowboys and Cardinals.

Plus all the fantasy news, views and stories from around the NFL.

In this podcast we discuss:

Marshawn Lynch, RB, Oakland Raiders

The excitement over the return of Marshawn Lynch was the talk of fantasy all during the off-season. His value remains uncertain in with a bloated ADP over ECR. At 31, will the usage be enough to warrant such high interest?

Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With three games to serve under suspension automatically cuts into the value of Doug Martin for 2017.  Will he just return to a committee situation with no clear lead back? Jacquizz Rodgers may be understated in his own fantasy chances as Alex and Richard discussed last week.

Robert Kelley, WR, Washington Redskins

As the presumed leader of the backfield in Washington, can he hold off Samaje Perine from a takeover? There are several factors that just make the whole situation uninteresting, which lead one away for more enticing prospects in Kelley’s ADP tier.

Rishard Matthews, WR, Tennessee Titans

With a strong running attack and passing game that acquired Eric Decker in the off-season, Matthews took a heavy hit in ADP interest. Will these circumstances permit any upside?

Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami Dolphins

Despite the late news of Tannehill’s injury, Landry’s ADP was still to high for standard league production. His value certainly helps in PPR, but in light of these events, nothing looks promising. Is there any upside left?

Jordan Matthews, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

With a knee issue connected apparently to tendinitis, Matthews did not see much participation in off-season programs. Nelson Agholor is gaining all the praise. Although Wentz has plenty of weapons, the outlook seems low on fantasy fuel.

OJ Howard, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If you wait on tight end, should this first round rookie be on your radar? With Cameron Brate in competition along with the wide receivers can Howard still rise? Rookie tight ends seldom breakout in their first season; so with all these barriers, how does Howard surge?
