Opening Day Lineups

As we see every season, Opening Day there are some surprising lineup decision. This year was no different and we discuss some of the ones, including Byron Buxon  batting eighth in the order.

Closer Carousel… Already

Well it didn’t take long this year. We already have some movement in the closer ranks.

Cardinals went out and signed Greg Holland after Luke Gregerson hit the DL. Texas named a closer and the Giants did too with Mark Melancon going to the DL.

Disabled List

A.J. has plenty to say about the length of time it takes teams to place their players on the DL. This really affects Fantasy Baseball owners.

Besdies having to get through those DL issues to deal with we had some late and shocking DL moves as well. This includes Sal Perez and Michael Conforto.

Opening Day 2018 Performances

it is just day one, but it all counts. We recap some of the best and worst from Opening Day 2018, which included a three home run day and many disapointing performances from ace pitchers.
