In this podcast we discuss:

The FSTA draft

This draft, as mentioned above, holds a significant place in Fantasy Football for drafting and sets some nominal ADP margins for several players. We examine some players taken perhaps too high or too low during this draft and of the methods the participants used in selecting for their fantasy teams.

Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

A top NFL draft pick. The Browns also acquired Tyrod Taylor as the bridge for Mayfield’s eventual starting role. Most pundits are certain that Mayfield may see starts, but not until much later in the season. What about the other skill players on the Browns until then?

Josh Rosen, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Sam Bradford is slated to start on a team that seems more ready than the rest to get their rookie on the field. However, the Cardinals are clearly in a rebuilding and adjustment phase after the departure of head coach Bruce Arians. What can we expect from a depleting receiving corps for either quarterback moving forward?

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

The days of Joe Flacco as the starter on the Ravens seems secure on contract, but the direction for the Ravens appears that they would prefer to move sooner than later for installing a new quarterback. Can Jackson take over the job in some kind of share or just wait?

All this and much, much, more on The Fantasy Edge…
